A Conversion Story from Churches of Christ
My name is Abraham. I am a convert to Catholicism from the Church of Christ restoration movement and graduate from the Bear Valley Bible Institute. My goals on this site are to critique Church of Christ articles and media in a way that builds both truth and harmony. There are many things I thought the Catholic Church taught that were simply not true, and I want to defend the Catholic position from arguments that really are’t correct.
Unification in Christ
I believe that we, Catholics and members of the Church of Christ, should unite on issues such as the sanctity of life. There’s no reason we both can’t march in the same procession in calling for the protection of the unborn. I’d also like to see us communicate more, have Q&A sessions at our respective church buildings, and hold singing and potluck days together.
